The Cinnamon Bear is a color phase of the Black Bear, and is easily distinguished
from the Brown Bear (Grizzly) due to its smaller size, the flatter profile of its head, and
the lack of the muscular shoulder hump. Cinnamon bears in Yellowstone are far more
numerous than Grizzly bears, but for some reason they are less often encountered.
