Sanibel Island has the highest concentration of various species of wading birds that I have
ever come across personally. From what I understand, conditions are very similar in Eastern
Florida also. The large variety of wading birds made for three very interesting shooting days.

In this section, you will find two pages full of the Birds of Florida. I compiled over 160 images
of Anhingas, Cormorants, Egrets and Herons, Ibis, Osprey, Pelicans, and other birds to make
this section something special. The images have been reprocessed for this section, and many
have not been posted before. I think you are really going to enjoy this look at the Birds of Sanibel.
