contains the exquisite Ninomaru Palace and one of the Edo period’s most celebrated gardens.

Once Japan’s most powerful and imposing castle, Osaka Castle was the site of the final
battle of over 400,000 warriors that cemented the power of Ieyasu Tokugawa as Shogun.

Okayama Castle is one of two castles in Japan that are painted black. Once one
of the Edo period’s premiere castles, it was destroyed in WWII and was reconstructed.
