Once we have completed the acquisition phase, we discuss what we did (to make it stick), and go through a question and answer session based on the new knowledge gained while traveling back to base
for the processing phase. While transferring files, I discuss how to organize files on the computer, and we go through the process of selecting images. We will process RAW files into master TIFs, learning how to read the
histogram to determine proper White Balance and EV settings, how to adjust contrast and color balance, set gamma levels, and other processing techniques with confidence and efficiency. We will then go through various techniques
of post-processing an image for final output.
By the time we are done the client can confidently evaluate a scene, and can use the knowledge of the luminosity of various parts of the scene to predict the proper meter selection and EV settings to
get close to the correct exposure, how to read a histogram, and how to make corrections based on the histogram to achieve the correct exposure if the first settings were incorrect. The client will be able to confidently make
rapid decisions based on the scene and make changes to the camera required to properly expose images. The client will know many ways to compose images based on the subject material and will be able to decide on a method based
on this knowledge to create interesting compositions either in-camera or during post-processing, depending on the situation. The client will learn a rapid and consistent workflow method for processing and post-processing
images. The quality of work will increase rapidly, and with practice both confidence and a greater satisfaction will be achieved.

One-on-one sessions (local to the LA area or in special-venues) are scheduled around and tailored directly to the needs of the client.
Group-sessions can be scheduled in any area (optimum size is 7-9 per session). Costs are determined by day-rate plus expenses divided by the number of people.
