It is quite unusual to be able to shoot 15 hours in one day
(without shooting a considerable part of that time in the dark).

Grizzly Cub Closeup X3227

The timid cub following Mom and the adventurous cub, who are on
the other side of the creek. This guy walked right past us and caused a
little excitement when we realized that we were between Mom and the cub.
That could have been a problem, but it turned out all right (Mom is used to this).

The Golden Female leaving the water after chasing down a fish.
Note the satisfied look on her face. She knows her cub learned how it is done.

These shots are from a sequence taken while she was teaching the timid cub how to fish.

16 selections from the entire training sequence. From top left:
Mom and the timid cub wait atop the bank for the adventurous cub;
He arrives, and Mom leaves to go to the creek; Look both ways before
diving in; and pounce on a fish; She checks to see if the cub learned, then;
She heads back into the creek to fish; She stands to watch for Salmon trails;
She chases down a fish; Her sheepish look lets us know she wasn’t successful;
the final four shots are taken while she is leaving the water to head to another spot.
